The primary objectives of this role are to ensure the reliable operation of Linux infrastructure through proactive administration, vulnerability management, automation, and continuous improvement of system resilience. /ppbDuties Responsibilities /b /pulliInstall, configure, and maintain Linux servers (RHEL, Ubuntu, or equivalent distributions). /liliPerform routine OS patching, software updates, and system upgrades to keep environments secure and current. /liliIdentify, assess, and remediate system vulnerabilities in line with security policies and compliance requirements. /liliImplement and manage backup strategies; perform recovery operations to meet defined RTO/RPO targets. /liliDevelop and maintain Shell scripts and Ansible playbooks to automate repetitive tasks and ensure configuration consistency. /liliMaintain accurate documentation of configurations, runbooks, and change records. /liliManage TLS/SSL certificates, including issuance, renewal, and revocation across servers and services. /liliDiagnose and resolve system incidents, performance bottlenecks, and infrastructure failures in a timely manner. /liliConfigure and maintain firewall rules, DNS records, and Active Directory integrations relevant to Linux environments. /liliMonitor system health, resource utilization, and log outputs; respond proactively to alerts. /liliCollaborate with network, security, and application teams to support infrastructure activities and projects. /li /ulpbPrimary Skills /b /pulliStrong hands-on knowledge of Linux operating systems (RHEL/Ubuntu).



/liliExperience with vulnerability management tools and patch management processes /liliSolid troubleshooting and root-cause analysis skills across OS, network, and application layers. /liliWorking knowledge of Firewalls (iptables/nftables/firewalld), DNS, and Active Directory/LDAP integration. /liliHands-on experience with Shell scripting (Bash) and Ansible for automation and configuration management. /liliUnderstanding of TLS/SSL protocols, certificate lifecycle management, and PKI concepts. /li /ulpbQualification, Experience, Technical and Functional Skills /b /pulliBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. /liliProven experience (3+ years) in Linux server administration in an enterprise environment. /liliExperience managing vulnerability remediation cycles, patching workflows, and security hardening. /liliHands-on experience with Ansible for infrastructure automation and configuration management. /liliDemonstrated ability to write and maintain Bash scripts for operational tasks. /liliFamiliarity with firewall management, DNS administration, and Active Directory/LDAP integration. /liliExperience with TLS certificate management in production environments. /liliAbility to interact with IT Managers, Service Desks, and Service Providers and elevate issues when necessary. /liliStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. /liliAbility to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
