The Priest will perform all ministry in accordance with the teachings of the Roman Catholic Church, the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM), and the requirements of the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS). /p h3bRequirements: /b /h3 ul liOrdained Priest of the Roman Catholic Church. /li liActive ecclesiastical endorsement from the bArchdiocese for the Military Services, USA (AMS) /b. /li liFaculties accepted or granted by the AMS Archbishop. /li liAbility to celebrate Catholic Mass and administer the Sacraments in accordance with the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM). /li liAbility to communicate effectively in English. /li liAbility to work collaboratively with the Religious Support Office (RSO), Chaplains, Religious Affairs Specialists, Parish Council, and Government representatives. /li liAbility to obtain and maintain installation access and successfully complete all required background checks. /li liAbility to complete required Army training, including Anti-Terrorism (AT), OPSEC, iWATCH, and Threat Awareness and Reporting Program (TARP) training, as required under the contract. /li liStrong organizational,



communication, and pastoral care skills. /li liCommitment to maintaining confidentiality and professional conduct while supporting military religious programs. /li /ul h3bDuties: /b /h3 ul liCelebrate weekly, daily, and Holy Day Catholic Masses in accordance with the General Instruction of the Roman Missal (GIRM). /li liAdminister the Sacraments, including: ul liReconciliation (Confession) /li liBaptism /li liMatrimony /li liEucharist /li liEmergency Anointing of the Sick /li /ul /li liProvide pastoral care, counseling, hospital visitation, home visitation, funeral ministry, and ministry to the sick. /li liSupport First Holy Communion and participate in Confirmation Masses as coordinated by the Government Catholic Priest. /li liServe as the Catholic Subject Matter Expert (SME) when no Government Catholic Priest is assigned. /li liOversee Catholic religious instruction and catechesis in accordance with United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) conformity requirements when serving as the SME. /li liCoordinate ministry activities with the Religious Support Office (RSO), Government Catholic Priest, Chaplains, Religious Affairs Specialists, and designated Government personnel. /li liArrive at least 15 minutes before scheduled services to ensure proper preparation and successful execution of worship services. /li liMaintain a professional appearance and conduct consistent with the values and standards of the Army Chaplain Corps. /li liProtect confidential information and comply with all applicable privacy requirements. /li liReport issues affecting contract performance to the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) in accordance with contract requirements. /li liComplete all required administrative actions, security requirements, and mandatory training associated with contract performance. /li liPerform all duties in accordance with the Performance Work Statement (PWS), Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS) requirements, Army regulations, and applicable Federal contract requirements. /li /ul /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
