Job Overview
The intern will support the Technical Operations team in the operational management of upfitted vehicle orders, ensuring effective activity tracking, system updates, and coordination with all stakeholders involved in the vehicle upfitting and delivery process, under the supervision of the Technical Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
- The responsibilities of the intern include but are not limited to the following:
- Monitor the progress of upfitted vehicle orders (production status, shipment to upfitters, etc.).
- Update management systems with information received from customers, upfitters, and suppliers.
- Support the monitoring of operational deadlines and milestones.
- Prepare progress reports and related data analyses.
- Identify and report delays, issues, or bottlenecks that may impact upfitting plans and delivery dates.
- Collaborate with Ordering and Sales Operations teams to collect and consolidate the necessary information.
- Support vehicle registration, invoicing, and final delivery preparation processes.
- Assist with document management activities related to the certification and testing of upfitted vehicles, including the preparation of documentation dossiers.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
- Good knowledge of Excel and the Microsoft Office suite (SAP knowledge is preferred but not mandatory).
- Master’s Degree in Economics, Engineering or related fields.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage priorities effectively.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Team-oriented mindset and collaborative approach.
- Good interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Customer-oriented attitude.
