Knowledge of other tools is considered a plus. /li liEnsure piping designs are fully developed and ready for internal, client, safety and regulatory reviews, coordinating and ensuring the timely closure of comments and actions.



/li liModel pipe supports in accordance with stress engineering requirements, applicable standards, and project specifications. /li liPerform model reviews and checking activities to ensure the technical accuracy, quality, and compliance of piping designs. /li liProactively manage multidisciplinary design interactions to optimize project outcomes, by coordinating and interfacing effectively with other project disciplines as well as any third parties involved for projects /li liSupport continuous improvement initiatives related to piping design methodologies, digital engineering tools, and engineering workflows. /li liProvide technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to junior piping designers and specialists where required. /li liManage and coordinate external parties as well as Wood Indian office involved for piping design development /li /ul h3Qualifications /h3 pAt Wood, we are committed to equal opportunities and welcome all talented individuals to consider joining our team. It will take all of us working together to deliver solutions to the world’s most critical challenges. /p ul liBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline, or an equivalent professional qualification. /li liExtensive experience in piping design and plant layout within Life Sciences, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Petrochemical, Energy, or Process Industry projects. /li liIn-depth knowledge and proven experience in all aspects of piping design, plant layout, and piping engineering practices. /li liStrong knowledge of applicable international engineering codes and standards, including ASME, EN, ISO, and relevant regulatory requirements. /li liGood understanding of materials of construction, insulation systems, valves, specialty components, and instrumentation associated with piping systems. /li liThorough knowledge of process equipment and the ability to design and route major process and utility piping systems in accordance with PIDs, engineering standards, GMP requirements, and project specifications. /li liDemonstrated capability to develop piping layouts in critical, congested or highly regulated plant areas. /li liProven experience with complex piping systems, including lined piping, jacketed piping, hygienic process piping, and specialty systems, considering fabrication, installation, and maintenance requirements. /li liStrong expertise of BIM methodology and procedures /li liDemonstrated understanding of risk-based design methodologies,



safe plant layout practices, quality management systems and engineering change control processes. /li liExcellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills. /li liProfessional proficiency in English, both written and spoken. /li liStrong expertise in the administration, customization, and effective use of AVEVA E3D and related 3D design tools.
