The Project Development Engineer will be responsible for leading and coordinating all technical development activities from project inception through Final Investment Decision (FID), ensuring that projects are technically optimized, commercially robust, fully permitted, and ready for execution. /ppThe role acts as the technical focal point during the development phase, managing multidisciplinary engineering activities, permitting support, EPC engagement and tendering processes, grid connection development, and High Voltage Substation procurement and contractor selection. /ppThe Project Development Engineer will operate within a multidisciplinary and international team, supporting projects across multiple geographies and technologies, and ensuring alignment between technical, commercial, regulatory, and execution requirements. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliAccountable for the technical development of projects from concept design through investment approval and EPC award. /liliCoordinate and manage multidisciplinary engineering activities, including civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, process, and grid connection engineering. /liliConduct technical risk assessments and maintain project risk registers throughout the development phase. /liliDefine and Validate CAPEX, project schedules, and technical assumptions supporting project business cases.



/liliSupport permitting activities by coordinating engineering inputs and technical documentation required for approvals. /liliLead Owner's Engineering activities and coordinate external engineering consultants. /liliDevelop EPC contracting strategies and technical bid packages. /liliManage EPC tendering processes, including contractor prequalification, technical evaluations, clarifications, and recommendation for award. /liliLead technical negotiations with EPC contractors in coordination with Procurement, Legal, and Engineering teams. /liliCoordinate grid connection development activities with utilities, TSOs, DSOs, and regulatory authorities. /liliManage the development, tendering, technical evaluation, and contractor selection process for High Voltage Substations and grid interconnection facilities. /liliEvaluate EPC and HV contractor proposals considering technical compliance, cost, schedule, operability, and project risks. /liliEnsure alignment between engineering deliverables, permitting requirements, and execution strategies. /liliSupport project financing activities by providing technical inputs for lenders, investors, and independent engineers. /liliPrepare technical presentations and documentation required for internal governance, investment committees, and Board approvals. /liliEnsure an effective handover of all technical documentation, contracts, assumptions, risks, and engineering deliverables to the Project Management and execution teams at project start. /liliSupport Project Managers during contract execution with technical clarifications, change requests, and claims related to development assumptions. /li /ulh3Technical Requirements /h3ulliMaster's Degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, Energy, or Industrial Engineering. /liliMinimum 5 years of experience in project development, engineering management, EPC contracting,
