Role Description The Salesperson will work tempo pieno on-site at our Rome location, welcoming customers and guiding them through the Bar à Parfums experience and the wider product range. Day-to-day activities include actively engaging with clients, understanding their preferences, presenting suitable fragrances, and providing detailed product information to support confident purchasing decisions. The role involves handling sales transactions, managing stock on the sales floor, maintaining an inviting and organized boutique environment, and contributing to visual merchandising.

The Salesperson will also support promotional activities, build long-term customer relationships,



and collaborate with the team to achieve sales targets while upholding Olfattorio’s high standards of service and brand presentation.

Qualifications

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to listen actively, understand client needs, and create a welcoming, inclusive in-store experience.
- Sales and retail skills, including consultative selling, upselling, cross-selling, and confidence in handling point-of-sale systems and cash transactions.
- Communication and interpersonal skills, with clear spoken and written communication and the ability to interact effectively with a diverse clientele.
- Product knowledge and passion for fragrances, with curiosity about perfumery, sensory experiences, and the ability to learn and explain olfactory concepts.
- Organizational skills, including attention to detail, basic inventory handling, and maintaining a clean, visually appealing store environment.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, and to collaborate in a team-oriented, fast-paced retail setting.
- Prior experience in retail, beauty, or luxury goods sales is an advantage; knowledge of Italian and English (additional languages are a plus).
- knowledge of make-up products and techniques
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further education in business, hospitality, or related fields is beneficial.
