Porter (Day & Night Shift) | Hotel Le Massif

We have expanded with a new luxury hotel in Courmayeur, Italy, located at the foot of Mont Blanc in one of the most prestigious alpine destinations. As part of the exciting winter season, we are looking for a Porter (Day & Night Shift) to provide exceptional guest service and support the smooth operation of the hotel around the clock. This role combines guest assistance, luggage handling, valet parking, and operational support, ensuring a seamless experience for our guests from arrival to departure.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome guests warmly upon arrival and departure, ensuring a memorable first and last impression.
- Assist guests with luggage, escort them to their rooms, and provide information about hotel facilities and services.
- Safely park and retrieve guest vehicles from the hotel parking garage and designated parking areas.
- Provide valet parking services, handling guest vehicles with care, professionalism, and discretion.
- Assist with guest requests, transportation arrangements, and local recommendations.
- Coordinate luggage storage, delivery, and collection efficiently.
- Deliver messages, amenities, and other items to guest rooms as required.
- Support Front Office operations and collaborate with other departments to ensure excellent guest service.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the lobby, entrance areas, luggage room, and public spaces.
- During night shifts,



conduct routine checks of public areas and assist in maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests and colleagues.
- Respond promptly and professionally to guest inquiries and concerns.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and luxury hospitality standards.

Profile & Requirements:
- Previous experience in a Porter, Bellboy, Guest Service, Front Office, or similar hospitality role is preferred.
- Valid driver's license is mandatory.
- Confident and experienced in driving both manual and automatic vehicles.
- Ability to safely park and retrieve guest vehicles from underground or off-site parking facilities.
- Strong customer service skills and a passion for hospitality.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Professional presentation and positive attitude.
- Good physical condition and ability to handle luggage safely.
- Ability to work independently and remain proactive during quieter periods, particularly on night shifts.
- Team player with a flexible and service-oriented mindset.
- Flexibility to work rotating day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Fluency in English is mandatory; Italian and/or French is a strong advantage.
- Knowledge of the local area and tourist attractions is a plus.
