Southern Visions is looking for a talented, highly organized and detail-oriented Travel Designer with a strong focus on Puglia and Basilicata to join our team.

The ideal candidate has excellent destination knowledge, strong written and spoken English, a refined understanding of high-end travel, and the ability to design, quote and book seamless itineraries for an international luxury clientele.

Our clients are mainly English-speaking travelers from North America, Australia and other key long-haul markets, often booking through luxury travel advisors, partner agencies and international DMCs.

PRINICPLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Operations & Logistic Management

* Liaison with the Travel Designer department to implement all the services requested for each tour

* Liaison with our internal and external suppliers for the assignment of services, (i.e. hotels, guides,transportation, restaurants);

* Communication of individual client profile to suppliers and guides;

* Data entry of all supplier services on our management software;

* Creation of supplier reports using our management software;

* Creation of detailed final travel documents for the clients;

* Rotational responsibility for the SV 24/7 emergency phone, approximately one week per month, primarily from April to October and only occasionally during the winter season,



including coordination of appropriate responses with clients and suppliers.

SKILLS

* Fluency in both written and spoken English (C1 level)

* Familiarity with Puglia region in its geography, logistics and players of the high-end tourist industry

* Full expertise of Office softwares (Word, Excel, Power Point)

* Problem-solving and pro-active attitude

* Ability to work and perform under pressure

* Excellent time management

Office Presence in Polignano a Mare

* For the months of May, June, Sept & Oct: to be available at the office everyday Mon-Fri;

* For all other months: to be available at the office 4 times a week; 1 day per week to work from home/remotely.

The above criteria will remain flexible and subject to changed based on work volumes. Criteria will be discussed each semester, along with a performance review.

Holidays

Holidays are encouraged in the months of August, Nov, Dec, Jan, Feb, and all statutory leave must be taken in the appropriate year.

Required Professional Experience

Minimum of 24 months of proven experience, supported by references, is required due to the company’s rapid growth.
