We are looking for an Advanced Data Scientist.
You will take charge of the selection, collection, verification and integration of data into a multiscale (EU, Member State, regional) relational database representing the EU Bioeconomy, following a ‘societal metabolism’ (MuSIASEM) approach. The role combines data engineering, quantitative analysis, AI-assisted data exploration and science-for-policy communication.
Mandatory Requirements
- 36 months MuSIASEM applied to quantitative assessments
- 12 months Python
- 12 months web programming (HTML5, CSS3, SASS, Java Script/ECMAScript 6 with D3.js)
- 6 months Adobe suite (InDesign, Acrobat or Illustrator)
- Strong knowledge of European agricultural datasets (Eurostat, FAO, CAPRI, trade data), ETL pipelines, data warehouse architecture Power BI and DAX
- Minimum 10 years IT experience
- English C1 or higher
- Master’s degree (or equivalent)
Work mode: Fully remote (far-site). Occasional on-site presence in Ispra only on request.
