/ppWe are seeking a highly motivated and talented Legal Counsel with 2-3 years Post-Qualification Experience (PQE) to join our dynamic in-house Legal Corporate Integrity department within Belmond.

/ph3Key responsibilities /h3ulliContract Management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial contracts, including supplier agreements, client contracts, partnership agreements, and service agreements, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and internal policies.
/liliBusiness Support: Provide proactive and pragmatic legal advice and support to various business functions (e.g., operations, finance, sales, marketing, HR) on day-to-day legal matters, helping to mitigate risks and achieve business objectives.
/liliLitigation Coordination: Manage and coordinate litigation strategy with external law firms, providing internal guidance and ensuring efficient handling of legal disputes.
/liliCompliance: Contribute to the development, implementation, and monitoring of the company's compliance programs, including but not limited to Italian Legislative Decree ******** (Organizational and Management Model), data protection (GDPR), anti-bribery, and other relevant regulatory frameworks.
Particular focus and support for supplier on-boarding and diligence.
/liliReporting: Provide timely and clear reporting on legal tasks and ongoing matters to line managers and relevant stakeholders as required.
/liliLegal Research Analysis:



Conduct legal research and provide concise analysis on various legal topics relevant to the hospitality and luxury sectors.
/li /ulh3Requirements Qualifications and Experience /h3ulliAdmitted to practice Italian law.
/lili2-3 years of relevant post-qualification experience gained in a reputable law firm or an in-house legal department, ideally within an international context.
/liliPrior in-house experience is preferred.
/liliExperience in commercial contract law is essential.
/liliKnowledge of compliance frameworks, including Italian Legislative Decree ********, is highly desirable.
/liliExcellent command of English (both written and spoken) is mandatory.
/liliExperience in the hospitality, travel, or luxury sector will be considered a significant advantage.
