/ph3bMission /b /h3pThis role focuses on supporting the elaboration of detailed plan and design reviews, resolving issues related to conflicting design requirements, ensuring client requirements and applicable standards are met.Projects could include the approval of new building, conversion, and existing vessels and yachts.
/ph3bKey Accountabilities /b /h3ulliReview and approve drawings of safety, fire protection for ships and offshore units, on the basis of the assigned tasks.
/liliReview and approve drawings of lifesaving appliances and navigation lights for ships and offshore units, on the basis of the assigned tasks.
/liliActivities relevant to drawing approval for the issue of certificates for marine equipment for MED Directive and RINA Type Approval.
/liliVerification of the compliance with Class Rules and Statutory Regulations (e.g. SOLAS Convention, COLREG Convention, National Flag requirements) for new buildings, ships in service, and ship's conversions.
/liliAssist clients providing guidance and support related to safety, fire protection, and lifesaving equipment.

life-saving appliances, and emergency evacuation procedures.
/liliKnowledge of the process of approving safety documentation for ships, including evaluating compliance with maritime safety regulations and recommending improvements.
/liliAbility to work closely with senior engineers and other stakeholders, providing support to ensure the safety plan approval process runs smoothly.
/liliCommunication and reporting skills provide recommendations for safety improvements in compliance with regulations.
