Our client, a leading international pharmaceutical company, is looking for a strongPrincipal Biostatistician Statistical Programmer / Technology Lead /strongto join their dynamic and collaborative team.
The company are based in Italy, working hybrid (4 days to be based in office in Milan).
/ppbr / /ppThis position would require: /pulliProject Team Leadership: Directs all programming activities for clinical trials (Phase I–IV) or large global projects, coordinating work across internal teams and external contractors.
/liliRegulatory Compliance: Ensures clinical data, analysis datasets, and reporting outputs strictly conform to global standards like CDISC standards (SDTM and ADaM) /liliTechnical Strategy Innovation: Drives the integration of new technologies, automation tools,



and programming languages (such as transitioning from traditional SAS to hybrid environments using R or Python and AI tools).
/liliCross-Functional Collaboration: Partners closely with biostatisticians, data managers, and medical writers to design statistical analysis plans and resolve complex data issues.
/liliResource Quality Management: Allocates team workloads, sets project timelines, and mentors junior or senior programmers to ensure high technical standards.
