pThis role is for Ignition Italia Srl, an Exclusive Networks Company. /ppbAbout the Role /b /ppAt Ingecom Ignition Italia, we are looking for a versatile bPre-Sales Engineer /b to join our technical team and act as a trusted technical advisor across our cybersecurity portfolio, supporting partners and customers in identifying and validating the most appropriate solutions for their needs. /ppThis role is key in supporting the sales organization by designing, presenting, and validating cybersecurity solutions, combining strong technical expertise with business understanding and excellent communication skills. /ppbDuties Responsibilities /b /ppAs a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for: /pullipWorking closely with the sales team to support all pre-sales activities, including customer meetings, solution presentations, and technical workshops. /p /lilipUnderstanding customer and partner requirements and translating them into effective cybersecurity architectures aligned with Ingecom Ignition’s portfolio. /p /lilipActing as a technical reference for partners and end customers throughout the pre-sales cycle. /p /lilipDesigning and delivering technical presentations, demos, and solution proposals. /p /lilipManaging and executing Proof of Concept (PoC) activities, from planning to validation, in collaboration with resellers and end customers. /p /lilipSupporting initial configuration, deployment, and validation of solutions during early project phases. /p /lilipServing as a technical interface between vendors, partners, customers, and internal teams. /p /lilipDelivering technical training sessions, workshops, and enablement activities (classroom, online, or on-the-job). /p /lilipKeeping up to date with market trends, emerging technologies, and vendor solutions. /p /li /ulpbQualifications Experience /b /ppbCore Requirements /b /pullipProven experience in IT, preferably in pre-sales,



technical consulting, cybersecurity, or engineering roles. /p /lilipStrong ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders: sales teams, vendors, partners, and customers. /p /lilipExcellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences. /p /lilipGood command of English (B1–B2 level), for interaction with vendors and technical documentation. /p /lilipWillingness to travel within Italy as required. /p /li /ulpbTechnical Skills Expertise /b /ppHands-on experience or strong knowledge in several of the following areas: /pullipEndpoint security, EDR/XDR, and threat prevention /p /lilipSecurity monitoring, SIEM, log management, incident investigation, alert triage, and threat hunting /p /lilipIdentity security, MFA, passwordless authentication, and Privileged Access Management (PAM) /p /lilipNetwork security, Network Detection Response (NDR), traffic analysis, and visibility /p /lilipCloud security, workload protection, and posture management across Azure, AWS, or GCP /p /lilipOperational Technology (OT), Industrial IoT, asset visibility, and industrial cybersecurity /p /lilipAttack surface, exposure, vulnerability, and security asset management /p /lilipEmail security, data protection, information protection, and secure collaboration /p /lilipNetworking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, LAN, WAN, VPN) and enterprise architectures /p /lilipAdministration of Windows, Linux, macOS, Active Directory,



and identity environments /p /lilipSecurity platform integrations using APIs, SIEM/SOAR, ticketing systems, and identity providers /p /lilipVirtualized and cloud environments including VMware, Hyper-V, Azure, AWS, and GCP /p /lilipAbility to map customer requirements to multiple technologies and build integrated proposals /p /lilipUnderstanding of MITRE ATTCK, Zero Trust, defense in depth, and related security frameworks /p /li /ulpbNice to Have /b /pullipExperience delivering technical training or workshops. /p /lilipKnowledge of cybersecurity vendors across EDR/XDR, SIEM, PAM, identity, OT security, NDR, exposure management, email security, or data protection. /p /lilipRelevant certifications, either vendor-neutral or vendor-specific. /p /lilipExperience in a distributor, system integrator, vendor, or multi-vendor cybersecurity environment. /p /li /ulh3bWhat we offer /b /h3ullipSalary: €35,000–€55,000 gross annual base salary + variable compensation linked to objectives /p /lilipCollective Agreement: CCNL Commercio /p /lilipMeal Vouchers: €7.00 per working day /p /lilipMedical Insurance /p /lilipCar Allowance /p /li /ulpWe are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
