The Securitisation team structures, executes and distributes asset-backed and capital-relief transactions across UniCredit's Italy, Germany, Austria and CEE footprint. The desk covers the full product range — true-sale ABS (auto, leasing, consumer, RMBS), synthetic / Significant Risk Transfer (SRT) trades, CLOs and financial-guarantee structures — working alongside clients, sponsors, rating agencies, investors and internal credit, capital and legal functions. The internship offers direct, hands-on exposure to live deal execution at investment-banking standard.
What you'll be doing The intern will support senior bankers across the full transaction lifecycle — origination, structuring,
execution and distribution — contributing to quantitative analysis, portfolio modelling, marketing materials and client- and committee-ready deliverables. This is a demanding, execution-focused role suited to a high-calibre candidate seeking a career in structured finance.
Support the structuring and execution of ABS and SRT / synthetic securitisation transactions, from pitch to closing.
Build and maintain cash-flow models, waterfalls, and portfolio stratifications; run scenario, stress and rating-agency sensitivity analyses.
Analyse reference pools and collateral tapes (auto, leasing, consumer, corporate), assessing eligibility, concentration, credit enhancement and residual-value exposure.
Prepare client pitchbooks, investor presentations, term sheets and internal credit / committee materials to investment-banking quality standards.
Conduct market, peer and precedent-transaction research across asset classes, countries and originators.
