About the Role
The Business Development (BD) Senior Specialistis an integral part of Latham’s Business Development team. This role will be responsible for working in close collaboration with key market leaders and colleagues across the BD department to support the firm’s business priorities in Italy to achieve its strategic marketing and business development goals, while developing and maintaining in-depth knowledge of industry, practice, market expertise, client mix, matter experience, trade groups, and media. This role will be located in our Milan office.
Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and in-office presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Employing knowledge to develop and execute strategic business development and marketing plans, acting as a “dot connector” internally
- Providing research, analysis, and reporting to support the identification and development of new clients and the enhancement of existing client relationships
- Supporting the implementation of the marketing strategy for the market, with a focus on measurable impact
- Achieving fluency in our client base and supporting efforts to identify, pursue, and attain new business from new and existing clients
- Collaborating and supporting on the development of local pitches, proposals, biographies, and directories
- Working closely with BD colleagues in the firm’s client programs and events team in
