Job Title: OSP Engagement and Assessment Counsellor
Employment Type: Tempo parziale, Contract Position (24 hours per week)

- Perform one-on-one screenings and assessments for clients with complex presentations, with flexibility to provide individual treatments and therapeutic interventions as needed.
- Develop and facilitate groups at the Centre using client-centered, trauma-informed and therapeutic modalities.
- Conducts trauma-informed biopsychosocial assessments.
- Co-facilitates therapeutic, psychoeducational, programs and groups as needed.
- Training on job-specific duties will be provided and participation in required training is expected as part of the position.
- Assist in client crisis and suicide intervention.




- Act as a client advocate on individual and systemic issues.
- Strong knowledge of the social determinants of health and issues that affect racialized communities.
- Participate in the development, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of treatment, education, counselling and health promotion programs and services for individuals, groups and the community.
- Engage community groups and networks in support of community initiatives.
- Ensures that required documentation is completed and available in the client's health record in a timely manner that meets professional standards of practice.
- Initiate and coordinate participation in programs.
- Chart review and case conferencing with a continuous quality improvement (QI) focus.
- Maintains enthusiastic, passionate and self-driven work ethic.
