About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Junior Statutory & Tax Specialist to join our Finance team in Gessate. The successful candidate will support statutory reporting and tax compliance activities for a portfolio of Italian legal entities.
This role offers a valuable opportunity to gain exposure to corporate taxation, statutory reporting, financial compliance, and IFRS reporting within a dynamic international healthcare group.
Key Responsibilities
The Statutory & Tax Specialist will be involved in:
• Assisting with statutory accounting and reporting activities for Italian legal entities;
• Supporting on the preparation of the reconciliation between statutory accounts (Italian GAAP) and Group reporting packages (IFRS);
• Supporting the preparation of annual statutory financial statements;
• Supporting VAT compliance activities, including periodic reconciliations and declarations;
• Supporting the management and compliance of withholding taxes on self-employed professionals and consultants; assisting with the preparation of related tax reports and documentation.
• Assisting with corporate income tax and local tax compliance processes;
• Ensuring proper filing and maintenance of accounting and tax records;
• Supporting tax audits and tax authority inspections involving Group companies;
