Location: Learning Services Southern Region (Lindisfarne) and Southern Support School (Howrah)

The School Health Nurse Program is seeking expressions of interest from motivated nurses to undertake a 12-month Clinical Nurse Educator (CNE) opportunity.

This role offers the chance to develop your leadership, education, clinical governance and workforce development skills while supporting School Health Nurses and contributing to service improvement initiatives.

About the Role

Working closely with Nurse Managers, the Statewide Leadership Team, School Health Nurses and the Southern Support School, you will:

• Support clinical education and professional development activities.

• Assist with staff orientation and onboarding.

• Provide guidance in professional nursing practice.





• Facilitate learning opportunities and promote evidence-based practice.

• Contribute to quality improvement, clinical governance and service development.

• Support the implementation of policies, procedures and clinical standards.

• Assist in identifying learning needs and coordinating education programs.

• Collaborate with the Southern Support School on health education and service development initiatives.

We are offering

• 23 November 2026 to 19 November 2027

• Flexible - up to 76 hours per fortnight
