We are seeking a Materials Engineer with expertise in materials characterization and product development . The successful candidate will support the characterization, development, and optimization of cable and accessories technologies.
In this role, you will:
- Perform advanced polymer morphological characterization to identify dispersion and distribution of polymeric and inorganic phases.
- Correlate polymer structure with chemical‑physical, rheological, and electrical properties of compounds.
- Conduct comparative analyses to support material development, troubleshooting, and product optimization.
- Analyze, interpret, and model complex multi‑technique datasets.
- Generate clear technical reports, presentations, and recommendations for R&D; and engineering teams.
- Actively support development of optimized material formulations and manufacturing processes for cable products.
You are the right fit if you have/are:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in Polymer Science or Materials Science
- Proven experience in polymer materials characterization and microscopy,
between 3/5 years of experience overall
- Experience with extrusion or injection molding processes is a nice to have
- Solid understanding of polymer physics, chemistry, and structure-property relationships
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Decision making attitude, critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork skills, results oriented and ambitious mindset

Applicable Collective Agreement : CCNL Gomma, Plastica, Cavi elettrici e affini.
Job Level/Category: ( Impiegato) in line with the applicable collective agreement.
Gross annual salary no less than: € 38.000,00
The position is eligible for an individual or collective variable incentive based on the achievement of predetermined performance objectives.
