The Continental Sorrento is looking for a creative and organised Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to join our team.
This is a hands on role for someone who genuinely loves social media, content creation and hospitality and wants the opportunity to work across one of the Mornington Peninsula’s most iconic destinations.
Working closely with our Marketing Manager, you will help bring The Conti to life across our social channels and support the day to day delivery of marketing across our restaurants, bars, events, weddings and entertainment precinct.
A big focus of the role will be helping us continue to grow our social presence, particularly across Instagram and TikTok, while also supporting the broader marketing activity happening across the precinct.
What you’ll be doing
Social Media & Content
You’ll take ownership of the day to day coordination of our social media content, including:
- Planning and maintaining our social media content calendars




- Scheduling approved content across our social channels
- Helping develop and grow The Conti’s TikTok presence
- Capturing engaging photo and video content across the precinct
- Filming and editing Instagram Reels and TikTok content
- Creating Instagram Stories and Canva graphics
- Identifying social trends, sounds and content opportunities relevant to The Conti
- Bringing new content ideas to the team
- Attending selected events to capture live content
- Organising and maintaining our content library
- Monitoring social content performance and identifying what is working across our channels
- Managing social inboxes

Marketing Coordination
You’ll also support the broader marketing team across a variety of day to day activity, including:
- Updating website content, landing pages and event pages
- Updating menus, booking links and QR codes
- Creating and updating marketing collateral in Canva
- Proofreading marketing collateral
- Coor
