Senior Pipeline Engineer – Oil & Gas

We are looking for a Senior Pipeline Engineer to join an Oil & Gas project based in Milan. The successful candidate will have solid experience in pipeline engineering, fabrication and offshore installation, ideally gained on complex subsea and brownfield projects.
Provide technical expertise throughout the pipeline engineering, fabrication and installation phases of the project.
Review and monitor pipeline manufacturing activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and quality requirements.
Provide technical oversight of CRA and clad pipeline manufacturing, including Mechanically Lined Pipes, clad pipes and weld overlay solutions.
Review manufacturing, inspection and testing procedures, identifying and managing potential technical and metallurgical risks.
Support the engineering and construction teams on pipeline installation activities, including offshore S-Lay/J-Lay operations.
Review and provide technical input on installation procedures, method statements,
layability studies and associated engineering documentation.
Provide technical support for subsea tie-ins, risers, PLETs/PLEMs and other subsea pipeline components.
Review welding procedures and technical documentation related to pipeline fabrication and subsea tie-ins.
Support critical installation activities such as shore approaches, abandonment & recovery operations and subsea connections.
Liaise with EPC/EPCI contractors, suppliers and other project stakeholders to resolve technical issues and ensure compliance with project requirements.
Contribute to technical reviews, risk assessments and resolution of engineering and construction-related issues.
Degree in Engineering , preferably Mechanical, Civil or a related discipline.
~10+ years of relevant experience in pipeline engineering within the Oil & Gas industry.
