Position Overview

We are looking for a Capacity Assurance Assistant to support the Senior Sourcing Manager in Apparel Capacity Assurance activities across the EMEA region, with a primary focus on operational activities for the Italy Sourcing – Apparel group. This position is reserved for candidates belonging to Protected Categories under Italian Law 68/99.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Vendor Management & VMS System

- Manage and update vendor master data within the Vendor Management System (VMS)
- Monitor and maintain supplier information, including addresses, banking details,



and legal entity changes
- Ensure accuracy, consistency, and completeness of supplier data within the vendor database

Partner Coordination & Communication

- Maintain daily communication with partners involved in the Ralph Lauren vendor approval process
- Manage follow‑ups on special projects, including:
- - Responsible Purchasing Practices Survey
- Regenerative Farming Initiatives
- Recycled Cotton Programs

- Monitor and follow up on supplier Scorecards and KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) updates

Production Capacity Database Management

- Update and maintain records of suppliers’ capabilities and production capacity
- Support the analysis and monitoring of production capacity within the assigned scope

Experience, Skills, and Knowledge

Education

- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably in Economics, Business Administration, Management, or equivalent)

Technical Skills

- Excellent command of English, both written and spoken (B2/C1 level)
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, calculations)
- Good working knowledge of PowerPoint and Word
- Previous experience with or knowledge of VMS systems and MicroStrategy (preferred)

Soft Skills

- Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail
- Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to collaborate cross‑functionally
- Ability to manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Proactive attitude with strong problem‑solving skills

Experience

- Previous experience in administrative roles or supplier coordination activities (preferred)
- Knowledge of the apparel and sourcing industry is a plus

Starting base salary equal to €27.500 (full-time). Once the successful candidate is selected, the salary offer will be based on objective and gender-neutral criteria such as experience, skills, responsibilities, and location.

Contractual level: CCNL Commercio – Level 4. Temporary contract 12 months.

Meal Vouchers: €8.65/day per worked day of at least 6 hours.
