Overview
In this role you will provide strategic legal support for European R&D; activities and select markets, partnering with regional and global teams to navigate clinical trials, regulatory, data privacy, and vendor relations. You will translate complex regulations into practical risk mitigations while supporting global programs across diverse jurisdictions. The position offers exposure to cross-functional teams and opportunities to shape R&D; governance and contracting practices. You will operate in a fast-paced, collaborative environment that aims to accelerate cancer research and patient access.

Responsabilità
- Provide timely, business-focused legal advice to European and selected markets aligned with global R&D; strategy
- Assist design,start-up and conduct of clinical trials and human-subject research including consent, ethics, recruitment, and decentralized elements
- Work with Regulatory, Clinical Development, Global Clinical Operations, Safety, Medical to identify legal risks early and craft mitigation strategies
- Draft, review,



and negotiate a range of R&D; agreements (clinical trial, central-vendor, clinical-supply, technology, services)
- Advise on regional implementation of global policies, with local-law adaptations where needed
- Monitor regulatory developments across markets and communicate actionable guidance
- Coordinate with Compliance, Privacy, IP and other legal functions for integrated risk management
- Support inspections, audits, investigations, disputes and remediation in R&D; matters
- Develop and deliver training on legal requirements and contracting practices for R&D; staff
- Contribute to global R&D; Legal function development, knowledge management and cross-regional collaboration

Requisiti fondamentali
- Law degree or equivalent professional qualification with authorization to practice in at least one relevant jurisdiction
- Typically 7+ years of legal experience in pharma/biotech/med‑dev or life sciences, including in-house or client-f
