We are looking for an experienced Automation & DCS Engineer to support a strategic project involving the implementation of a new Distributed Control System (DCS) at our chemical manufacturing site.
The successful candidate will ensure operational continuity throughout the configuration, testing, commissioning, start-up and stabilization phases of the new system following the planned go-live in the coming months.
Responsibilities
Support the implementation and configuration of the new DCS platform.
Participate in testing activities, including FAT, SAT, commissioning and plant start-up.
Modify and optimize process control logic.
Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis for automation-related issues.
Collaborate closely with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and external suppliers.
Integrate field instrumentation, control loops and process equipment into the DCS envi
