We are looking for a Fabric Operations Specialist to join Fabric team, reporting to the Fabric Manager. with responsibility for ensuring the efficient operational management of activities related to suppliers, fabric sampling, and fabric orders, supporting the smooth progress of collection development and ensuring the accuracy of administrative processes, including order follow-up, deliveries, and system data updates.
What you will do
Supplier Management
• Maintain ongoing relationships with suppliers, mills, and other partners of the Fabric Research Department.
• Request quotations, availability, minimum order quantities,
and delivery lead times for fabric samples.
• Monitor suppliers’ activities and progress, ensuring collection development timelines and priorities defined by the Design Team are met.
• Manage any issues related to orders, deliveries, quantities, or documentation, involving the relevant departments when necessary.
• Keep supplier information, documentation, and sample purchasing budget tracking up to date.
Order Management
• Enter, update, and monitor fabric, sample, and material orders.
• Verify order confirmations, prices, quantities, commercial conditions, and delivery dates.
• Monitor order status and prepare reports and updates for the team.
• Track the receipt of fabric samples and verify consistency between received materials, orders, and related documentation.
• Support the management of purchasing-related administrative documentation and collaborate with the Finance and Purchasing Departments to ensure the
