Chaberton Professionals, a division of Chaberton Partners specialized in the search and selection of Middle and Top Management profiles, is looking for a Spa Director on behalf of our client, an internationally recognized luxury hospitality group offering a unique lifestyle proposition that combines high-end accommodation, wellness, gastronomy, sustainability, and immersive guest experiences within an exclusive destination setting.

Our client is undertaking an ambitious project to further elevate its wellness proposition through the development of a flagship Spa, designed to become a cornerstone of the guest experience and a benchmark for excellence in luxury wellness hospitality.

The Spa Director will play a strategic and operational role throughout the evolution of this project, contributing to the enhancement of the wellness concept, treatment portfolio, guest journey, and operating model, while ultimately leading the day-to-day management and long-term success of the Spa.

Key Responsibilities

- Contribute to the ongoing development and positioning of the Spa concept in line with the overall brand vision and guest experience strategy.
- Design and continuously refine the treatment menu, wellness programs, signature rituals, and guest journeys.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders on the enhancement of facilities, service standards, and operational processes.
- Evaluate and select product lines, wellness brands, and strategic partners.
- Ensure all offerings reflect the highest standards of luxury hospitality and personalized service.
- Lead recruitment activities for Spa professionals and support the expansion of the wellness team.
- Build, motivate, and develop a high-performing team of therapists,



supervisors, reception staff, and wellness specialists.
- Foster a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Deliver coaching, training, and performance management initiatives to ensure outstanding service delivery.
- Oversee all Spa operations, ensuring exceptional guest satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Monitor quality, hygiene, health and safety standards across all areas.
- Manage workforce planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Ensure seamless collaboration with the broader hospitality team to create a consistent luxury guest experience.
- Drive revenue growth through treatments, wellness experiences, memberships, and retail offerings.
- Monitor KPIs and implement initiatives aimed at maximizing performance and profitability.
- Manage budgets, forecasting activities, and cost control processes.
- Stay abreast of market trends and industry innovations to continuously enhance the wellness proposition.

Requirements:

- Proven experience in Spa Management roles within luxury hotels, resorts, destination spas, or premium wellness environments.
- Preferred career path beginning in operational wellness roles such as Spa Therapist, Senior Therapist, or Treatment Manager before progressing into leadership positions.
- Demonstrated success in managing medium-to-large teams within complex and high-service-level organizations.
- Strong expertise in spa operations, wellness programming, treatment development, and guest experience management.
- Previous exposure to Spa openings, renovations, repositioning projects, or significant business transformation initiatives is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Commercially minded, highly organized, and results-oriented.
- Fluent English is required; knowledge of additional languages will be considered an asset.

Location: Tuscany, Italy Salary Range: €50.000 - €70.000
