Freelance Network Security Engineer | Remote (Italy) |

We are looking for a Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in IP Networks and Network Security to join a major infrastructure transformation program. You will play a key role in managing, securing, and evolving enterprise network environments, including the deployment of two new Data Centers and collaboration with international teams.

? Key Responsibilities

- Manage and configure Routing & Switching infrastructures in enterprise and carrier-grade environments
- Administer and optimize Network Security solutions
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Cisco, Juniper, and Fortinet network devices
- Manage Cisco ASA Firewalls and security policies
- Implement and support Cisco ISE solutions for network access control
- Administer Proxy infrastructures and traffic filtering services
- Manage VPN Concentrators and secure remote access solutions
- Perform network monitoring, performance analysis, and incident resolution




- Collaborate with national and international stakeholders on infrastructure modernization projects

✅ Required Skills & Experience

- 5+ years of experience in Network Security and IP Networking
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- Routing & Switching
- Network Security
- Cisco Technologies
- Fortinet (FortiGate)
- Cisco ASA Firewalls
- Juniper Devices
- Cisco ISE
- Proxy Solutions
- VPN Concentrators
- Experience working in enterprise-scale network environments
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
