Your Mission

As part of the development of our activities in Italy, we are looking for an M&A; Manager for our Milan office. Reporting to the Country Manager – Italy, you will be responsible for the collection, consolidation, and analysis of financial data and information related to M&A; transactions, both greenfield and brownfield. With a comprehensive understanding of the business development of the unit, you will support the definition of strategic and economic recommendations to evaluate acquisition and partnership opportunities.

A few examples of your responsibilities:

- Lead M&A; transactions end to end: preliminary studies, market analysis, due diligence, and financial modeling of project cash flows.
- Manage M&A; projects in coordination with the various units in Italy and across Europe.




- Prepare materials for investment committees on M&A; activities.
- Participate in the selection of advisors and partners involved in M&A; transactions.
- Support market analysis on specific areas of the energy business, in a broad and comprehensive manner.
- Liaise with the European M&A; and finance teams to ensure consistency of practices across GreenYellow's operations.

What we look for

- Higher education in Economics or Finance (Business School or University degree).
- At least 5 years of successful experience in Transaction Services, M&A;, within a Private Equity fund, or in the finance/M&A; department of a large international Energy Utilities group.
- Solid financial modeling capabilities and excellent command of Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical, synthesis, and writing skills.
- Strong negotiation skills, good interpersonal skills, intellectual curiosity, and assertiveness.
- Ability to work independently, with flexibility and initiative.
- Reasoning ability. You think from first principles, structure your ideas sharply, resist the influence of biases, and take care of the details that matter.
- Drive. You're extremely ambitious, and your initiative, effort, and tenacity match the intensity of your ambition. You feel deeply responsible for your work and hold yourself to a high, rising bar.
