Overview
In this role you will support private investor clients and their portfolio companies through the deal lifecycle. You'll work in a Milan-based team within the Private Capital practice, collaborating with colleagues across McKinsey's network to deliver diligence, value creation topics, and exit support. You'll synthesize market and financial insights to inform acquisitions and growth strategies, while developing as a leader through structured learning and mentoring. Responsabilità
- Support deal lifecycle activities: diligence, value creation topics, and exit support
- Conduct market attractiveness assessments and targeted financial analysis for potential acquisitions
- Prepare and present synthesized findings to clients and internal stakeholders
- Act as a subject matter expert on topics related to services for investors and their portfolio companies
- Develop trust-based client relationships and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Coordinate with the broader McKinsey network, including data scientists and industry experts
Requisiti fondamentali
- Master's degree
- 5+ years of work experience after degree
- Previous IB/VC/PE experience or exposure to transactions preferred
- Investor mindset with interest in private equity, real estate, or venture capital
- Fluency in Italian and English
- Ability to work collaboratively in teams and drive independent workstreams
- Comfort with ambiguity and strong problem-solving through quantitative analysis
