The Opportunity

We are looking for a senior commercial leader to join QTS at an important stage of our growth and help build our Italian energy business from the ground up.

This is not a traditional sales role. You will work directly with QTS leadership to shape our Italian market strategy, establish relationships with utilities, EPCs and major contractors, identify upcoming energy projects and develop opportunities from market entry through contract award.

We are looking for someone with:

• 8+ years of business development/commercial experience in the energy industry




• An established network across the Italian energy and utility market
• Experience with utilities, power generation, transmission/grid, EPCs and major contractors
• Strong knowledge of vendor qualification, procurement, tenders, RFQs/RFPs and framework agreements
• Ability to identify projects, map key decision-makers and create new commercial opportunities
• Fluent Italian and strong business English
• An entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to operate independently in a developing market

You will play a key role in establishing QTS in Italy, developing strategic partnerships, supporting vendor and procurement qualifications and positioning our HSE, environmental and project-support capabilities across the Italian energy sector.

Location: Remote – Italy, preferably Milan/Lombardy
Travel: Regular travel to clients, projects and industry events throughout Italy
