About ProteQ HealthProteQ Health Sàrl is a Swiss public-health company bringing insecticide-treated nets (ITNs) and related vector-control products to malaria-endemic markets. We work with manufacturing partners, global health funders and procurement agencies to make effective malaria prevention more accessible.

The roleThe Director of Finance owns ProteQ Health's financial management, reporting and controls, and acts as a strategic partner to the leadership team as the company scales. The role can be based in Switzerland or elsewhere in Europe, at 60–100% on an employment or consulting basis. It reports to the CEO and suits a hands-on finance leader comfortable in a lean, international start-up environment.

Key responsibilities• Lead budgeting, forecasting, cash-flow planning and financial modelling, including scenarios for new product launches and tenders.
• Own month-end and year-end close, statutory accounts and audit under the Swiss Code of Obligations (CO) and IFRS, working with external accountants and auditors.
• Manage tax, VAT,



payroll and social-insurance compliance in Switzerland.
• Oversee grant and donor funding: budgets, restricted-fund tracking, compliance and financial reporting to funders.
• Support commercial and supply agreements with manufacturing partners: pricing, costing, margin analysis, payment terms and FX exposure.
• Manage treasury, banking relationships, working capital and trade finance for international shipments.
• Build scalable finance processes, internal controls and systems suited to a growing company.
• Prepare board and investor reporting, and support fundraising and due diligence.

Your profile• 10+ years in finance, with at least 3 in a senior role (Head of Finance, Finance Director or CFO of an SME or scale-up).
• Degree in finance, accounting or economics; Swiss certified expert (Expert-comptable / dipl. Experte in Rechnungslegung und Controlling) or similar, CPA, ACCA or equivalent preferred.
