The Role
The Adult Eating Disorder Service (AEDS) provides specialist care and treatment for adults with moderate to severe eating disorders who often present with complex mental, physical and social care needs. Based within Specialist Services in NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, the service delivers evidence-based treatment in community and inpatient settings, promoting recovery, personal choice and independence. Working as part of an experienced multidisciplinary team, the post holder will contribute to high-quality, recovery-focused care and support service users to achieve their individual goals while helping to prevent hospital admission wherever possible.
This role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Heath and Care Worker visa. NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is unable to provide candidates or employees with a Certificate of Sponsorship (COS).

Key Responsibilities
The post holder will play an important role in supporting both physical health monitoring and recovery-focused interventions within the Adult Eating Disorder Service. Working collaboratively with service users, carers, families and the wider multidisciplinary team, they will develop therapeutic relationships built on empathy, respect and compassion.
