We are looking for a Software Engineer who will contribute to the development in C language of applications running on PC for the virtual simulation of automotive systems.

About this vacancy

The person will join a technical team engaged in the development and evolution of Digital Twin solutions to support the development and validation of vehicle software, with a particular focus on systems for electric mobility.

- Analyze the technical and functional requirements of automotive systems to be reproduced in a virtual environment.
- Design, develop, and maintain software written in C language executed on PC.
- Contribute to the development of Digital Twin models and virtual simulation environments to anticipate vehicle software integration and validation activities.
- Integrate models, software components, and interfaces to simulate the behavior of automotive systems, including those for electric vehicles.
- Define and perform tests, debugging activities, and result analysis, ensuring code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with developers and system engineers in code review activities, integration, and continuous improvement of simulation tools.

What we expect from you





- Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, Electronics or related technical disciplines.
- 0 to 2 years of experience in software development in C.
- Good knowledge of the C language and the main tools for development, compiling, and debugging in a PC environment.
- Knowledge of structured programming principles, software modularity, and memory management.
- Interest in the automotive sector, virtual simulation, and Digital Twin technologies.
- Familiarity with Git and development, testing, and code review methodologies.
- Knowledge of MATLAB and Simulink, Model-Based Design, or automotive simulation environments is considered a plus.
- Analytical skills, precision, problem-solving attitude, and teamwork capabilities.
- Good knowledge of English, both written and spoken.
- Availability to travel and relocate will be considered a plus.
- Strong motivation to embrace the Employeneurship model of TMC.

What you can expect from us

The position includes a permanent employment contract and a Gross Annual Salary (RAL) of no less than €30,000, in compliance with the National Collective Labor Agreement (CCNL) Commerce – Tertiary, Distribution and Services.





TMC is committed to offering a competitive remuneration package. At the end of the selection process, after evaluating the candidate’s experience, skills, and qualifications, the company may propose a final RAL higher than the amount indicated above.

In line with our business model, the final remuneration package also includes:

- a component of profit-sharing from the project;
- an annual individual budget for training and professional development amounting to €4,000 net;
- an annual welfare credit.

Further details will be provided during the selection process, in accordance with applicable company policies.
