Life on the Team

Computacenter looking for a day-to-day administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the organisation's IT Financial Management (ITFM) Platforms for Cloud FinOps, tokenomics, and Technology Business Management (TBM). The role acts as the technical bridge between raw IT spend data and the dashboards that finance, engineering, and leadership stakeholders rely on for cost visibility and optimisation decision-making. The role also supports bespoke Power BI dashboards that extend and complement native platform reporting.

This role would suit an experienced data professional that wishes to broaden their expertise by gaining IT Financial Management domain knowledge. Alternatively, someone with a background in IT Financial Management that has a talent and passion for data.

What you’ll do

- Working closely with the Data & Analytics and Product teams, support data transformation and pipeline work feeding the TBM / FinOps and Power BI datasets.

- Maintaining data hygiene, investigating and resolving data discrepancies between sources and cost management tools.

- Apply a strong analytical mindset to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues in spend / consumption data.

- Maintain data models and mapping logic that support cost allocation and modelling within the ITFM platform.

- Build, maintain, and iterate cost allocation views, business mapping structures, and dashboards within the systems to support showback / chargeback models.

- Ensure that all stakeholders reporting requirements are met,



through regular updated improved dashboards tailored to different stakeholder personas.

- Maintain PowerBI / Excel reports, where requirements cannot be met natively in ITFM platforms.

What you’ll need

- Minimum 8-12 years experience in either a data or finance focused role

- Strong Power BI skills: data modelling and dashboard design for non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong Excel skills: advanced formulas, detailed analysis, able to build complex models, Power Query, etc.

- Ability to communicate technical and data concepts effectively to finance, technology, and non-technical stakeholders.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and data quality issues.

- Experience working with multiple data sources and translating business requirements into meaningful insights and reports.

- Independent self-motivated problem solver who takes initiative.
