Hauptaufgaben Incumbent is responsible for establishing administrative priority for programmed and non-programmed maintenance operations workload, including comprehensive planning, direction, and execution of tactical maintenance and repair mission, consisting of repair, maintenance, overhaul, inspection and related services of all tactical and non-tactical vehicles, equipment and materials.
As the local authority for the management of MST's maintenance and services operations, the incumbent is responsible for the end-to-end management and execution of the obligatory TACOM Safety and Modification programs for all military units operating within the area of coverage and responsibility.
He/she is responsible for ensuring that units or supporting maintenance elements meticulously document, report, and certify the applied modifications, clearing all associated messages from the official Army systems of record.
This critical oversight function ensures total fleet compliance and accurate reflection of equipment readiness.
Reviews the implementation of directives and the status of maintenance and repairs, conducts meetings with management and leadership personnel to obtain budgetary funds, establishes work management programs, and coordinate with budget and programming staff.

set and adjust short-term priorities, and prepare schedules for completion of work.
Assign work to subordinates based on priorities, selective consideration of the difficulty and requirements of assignments, and the capabilities of employees.
Evaluate work performance of subordinates.
Give advice, counsel, or instruction to employees.
Interviews candidates for positions; recommend appointments, promotion, or reassignment to such positions.
Hears and resolves complaints from employees, referring group grievances and more serious unresolved complaints to a higher-level supervisor or manager.
Effects minor disciplinary measures, such as warnings and reprimands.
Identifies developmental and training needs of employees, providing or arranging for needed development and training.
Find ways to improve production or increase the quality of the work directed.
Develop performance standards.
Directs, coordinates, or oversees work through subordinate leads.
Make decisions on work problems presented by subordinate leaders.
Evaluates subordinate leaders.
Tour of duty: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, from **** to ****, including a 1-hour uncompensated lunch break.

EXPERIENCE: Applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of Specialized Experience equivalent to at least the UA-01 grade level.
