ppWe are looking for a motivated and curious Data Science Intern to join our Advanced Analytics AI team in Milan. /p pDuring the internship, you will work alongside Data Scientists, ML Engineers, and business stakeholders to develop data-driven solutions that support business decisions and improve operational processes. You will gain hands-on experience across the data science lifecycle, including data preparation, exploratory analysis, machine learning, Generative AI, model evaluation, and communication of results. /p pbYour responsibilities will include /b /p ul liCollaborate with business stakeholders to understand their challenges and translate them into data science use cases. /li liCollect, clean, transform, and analyze structured and unstructured data from different sources. /li liPerform exploratory data analysis to identify patterns, trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement. /li liDevelop and evaluate statistical and machine learning models for classification, regression, forecasting, recommendation, or anomaly detection. /li liSupport the development of Generative AI and Large Language Model solutions, such as: /li liInformation extraction and text classification. /li liDocument processing and summarization. /li liPrompt design and structured LLM outputs. /li liCreate clear visualizations, dashboards, and presentations to communicate findings to technical and non-technical audiences. /li liContribute to the documentation, testing, and monitoring of data science solutions. /li liWork with the wider Data Analytics team to deliver prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions. /li liCurrently pursuing a Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field. /li liGood knowledge of Python for data analysis and machine learning. /li liWorking knowledge of SQL and relational data concepts. /li liUnderstanding of fundamental statistics and machine learning concepts. /li liInterest in Generative AI, Large Language Models,
