ppWe are looking for a bSoftware Development Engineer /b – Connectivity. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the definition and implementation of new TCU platforms. The role requires automotive or equivalent platform expertise in building scalable and high-quality product development. /ph3Engagement details: /h3ulliLocation: Turin, Italy /liliEmployment type: Permanent /liliWorking model: Hybrid /liliStart date: ASAP /li /ulh3Responsibilities: /h3ulliDesign, develop, and maintain software for TCU connectivity platforms across 4G/5G, C-V2X, UWB, NFC, and CAN domains /liliWrite, code, test, and analyze software programs and applications throughout the full production lifecycle /liliReview validation logs, confirm defects, and drive resolution in collaboration with the development team /liliResearch, design, document, and modify software specifications to meet evolving platform requirements /liliIntegrate software across multiple execution contexts and domains using dynamic linking and loading techniques /liliPerform performance optimization and tuning for embedded Linux and NAD environments /liliImplement and maintain telematics features including eCall, remote services, data collection, and Phone as a Key /liliConduct static and dynamic code analysis; develop and execute unit, integration, and system test plans /liliCollaborate with cross-functional teams including validation, hardware, and cloud engineers /liliProvide mentoring, support, and technical guidance to junior engineers /liliCommunicate findings and technical decisions clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders /li /ulh3Qualifications:



/h3ulliCollege diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering — plus 5–12 years of equivalent experience /liliHands-on knowledge of: 4G/5G Modem, DSRC, C-V2X, Ultra Wide Band, NFC, CAN, Ethernet, IP, TCP/UDP, TLS/DTLS /liliFamiliarity with MQTT, OMA-DM, LWM2M, and Macchina.io framework /liliExperience with Linux, NAD, Application Processor, SoC, HSM, SEE /liliIndustry background in connectivity, cockpit, or cloud solution development (automotive or consumer) /li /ulh3Nice to have: /h3ulliDeep understanding of on-board and off-board connectivity platforms /liliNative software engineering experience: C/C++, Rust, Java, or JavaScript /liliLinux and NAD development; startup configuration, scripting, and application development /liliPerformance optimization and tuning /liliStrong grasp of quality practices: static/dynamic code analysis, unit, integration, and system testing /liliExperience with dynamic linking/loading and multi-domain software integration /liliRadio Interface Layer and Hardware Abstraction design principles /liliMultiple vehicle architectures and diagnostics experience /liliSignal, API, and service-oriented interface design /liliKnowledge of telematics features: eCall, remote services, data collection Phone as a Key /liliV2X technology and applications (Day 1 and beyond) /liliSAFe Agile practices /liliKnowledge of applicable data privacy practices and laws /liliAbility to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders and cross-functional teams /li /ul /p #J-*****-Ljbffr
