pPosition summary: /ppThe Workshop Technician is responsible for the correct repair of customers and Stryker equipment.
He/she will also utilize a wide array of knowledge, technical skills and problem-solving abilities to facilitate the fast turnaround of both the quality checking of loan equipment and the repair of items that have failed in the customer environment.
He or she is responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining the overall status of Stryker equipment.
/ph3Essential duties responsibilities: (detailed description) /h3ulliDisassemble and reassemble medical devices, replace components /liliTest and calibrate medical devices, sub-assemblies and instruments in accordance with approved practices and procedures /liliEnsure that all repairs are evaluated and completed in a timely manner as defined by the Team lead or Supervisor /liliAssist with booking in, quoting and repair of customer equipment /liliUnpacking, cleaning and packing medical devices /liliShip domestic and international equipment /liliPreparing and verifying shipping documents and ensuring devices are stored in the correct location and in good condition /liliMaintain technical competency through regular and frequent attendance at appropriate courses of further vocational study and continuing professional development /liliEnsure that the department's performance of services is compliant with the applicable quality system and regulations /liliEnsure efficient maintenance of the spare parts stock and will participate in the realization of the required annual inventories /li /ulh3Education special trainings:
