Based in our Milan office and reporting to the Technical Director, you will be accountable for the overall design performance of assigned projects, ensuring delivery in terms of quality, time, cost, and technical compliance.
You will act as the ultimate design authority within the project, responsible for defining design direction, making key decisions, and ensuring alignment between all disciplines, stakeholders, and project objectives.
/p h3Key Responsibilities /h3 ul liLead and take full ownership of the design process across all project phases, ensuring alignment with project objectives, quality standards, and client expectations /li liDefine and drive the design strategy, making key decisions and ensuring design integrity, feasibility, and constructability /li liLead and coordinate multidisciplinary teams, ensuring effective collaboration and integration across all disciplines /li liOversee design delivery, ensuring compliance with project requirements, timelines, and budget constraints /li liAct as the primary interface with clients and stakeholders, managing expectations and ensuring clear communication of design intent /li liMonitor project performance, identifying risks and implementing corrective actions in coordination with the Technical Director /li liEnsure high standards of quality, technical excellence, and consistency across all design outputs /li liPromote innovation, digital tools, and BIM methodologies to enhance design performance and efficiency /li /ul h3Requirements /h3 ul liMaster's Degree in Architecture or Building Engineering Architecture (BIM/Digital specialization is a plus)



/li liRegistration with the Italian Architect Registration Board or equivalent international certification /li li*****+ years of experience in architectural or multidisciplinary design /li liProven experience in a Design Manager or equivalent leadership role on complex international projects /li liStrong experience in full design lifecycle ownership, from concept to construction /li liAdvanced proficiency in BIM (Revit), AutoCAD, Rhino, Adobe Suite, and related tools /li liDemonstrated ability to lead and manage multidisciplinary teams /li liStrong decision-making skills with a high level of accountability for project outcomes /li liDeep understanding of construction processes, technical design, and coordination /li liExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills /li liStrong organizational and project management capabilitiesFluency in Italian and English (additional languages are a plus) /li /ul h3Compensation and Employment Terms /h3 pThe compensation and contractual terms will be defined based on the requirements of the position, as well as the candidate's skills, qualifications, professional experience, and type of contractual engagement.
The expected compensation for the position ranges from €45,000 to €55,000 gross per year, or the equivalent annual compensation for a consultancy arrangement, depending on the contractual framework agreed upon.
