What will you do as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer?
As a Senior Hardware Design Engineer at TOPIC, you are a key member of our Hardware team and play an important role in complex development projects. You act as a trusted sparring partner for colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders, translating concepts into clear technical direction for the team. You take a leading role in the design of complex hardware systems while effectively prioritizing multiple projects and clients.
Your responsibilities as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer:
- Implement a diverse range of innovative solutions across industries,
from designing cutting‑edge medical IoT devices to developing next‑generation high‑speed computing platforms and everything in between.
- Take full ownership of design activities, ensuring the quality, integrity, and timely delivery of solutions.
- Develop and validate complete hardware subsystems, based on high‑level requirements and detailed project specifications.
- Conduct in‑depth analyses and studies, applying proven methodologies to deliver high‑quality, effective solutions.
- Participate in the entire development lifecycle: from system requirement gathering and translating these into hardware architecture, to PCB design & routing, schematic design, testing, and integration.
- Provide senior‑level expertise and guidance, supporting multiple teams within your domain and helping to elevate the overall technical craftsmanship of the organization.
