Account Executive — Berserk
Remote, working in a European time zone
Berserk was founded by the technical team behind Humio, the streaming log analytics engine acquired in 2021 that now runs at global enterprise scale. We are building again, now for the AI agentic age: one engine for logs, metrics and traces, built on object storage, with public, predictable pricing. The product is technically exceptional and customers are arriving. What we need now is someone who can turn that interest into revenue, repeatably.
The role
We are looking for an Account Executive, working remotely from anywhere in a European time zone, to own new business across Europe. You will be one of the first sales hires, working day to day with our Commercial Lead and closely with the founding team in Aarhus, DK.
This is a hands-on, full-cycle role: you will source, run and close your own deals. It suits someone who has sold observability or data infrastructure before, understands how engineering teams buy,
and wants to do it again where every deal visibly moves the company. Expect regular travel to Aarhus and to customers across Europe.
What you will do
• Close new business. Run the full sales cycle: prospecting, discovery, technical evaluation with our engineers, commercial negotiation and close.
• Sell to engineers. Lead conversations with platform, SRE and data teams, and with the leaders who sign. Know when to bring in a founder or an engineer, and when to run it yourself.
• Win competitive evaluations. Most prospects already pay for an observability platform or run their own analytical database. Help them see what keeping all of their telemetry, for longer and at a fraction of the cost, would change for them.
• Build pipeline. Develop your own territory through outbound, events, communities and partners. Work with the team on which segments and messages convert.
