This role in summary

An Italian Statutory Accounting job involves preparing and maintaining financial records that comply with local laws, regulations, and specific accounting standards (like SAP or local GAAP) for Group Italian entities, ensuring accurate statutory financial statements, managing external audits, bridging local GAAP with group reporting, and liaising with tax, legal, and internal finance teams for regulatory compliance and process improvement. Key responsibilities include preparing annual filings, reconciling GAAP differences, and ensuring timely submission to authorities, requiring strong technical skills and attention to detail.

Your responsibilities will include

- Assisting in the preparation of Financial Statement including notes and disclosures, according to Local GAAP/IFRS.
- Supporting the team in performing reconciliations between management of GAAP and local statutory GAAP.
- Supporting the team in providing information and resolving queries submitted by external auditors.
- Work closely with tax, legal, controllership, and shared services teams.
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to discussions
- Ensure adherence to statutory regulations, governmental guidelines, and corporate governance standards.
- Interpret and apply new accounting standards and document accounting positions.

Minimum requirements

- Currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.




- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Fluent in English.
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
- Basic knowledge of financial principles and concepts.
- Experience with any ERP system is a plus.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
