Description
CIMA Aviation is seeking skilled and motivated technician with a hunger for knowledge and a passion for aviation repair to join our team. Our ideal candidate is a team player with a passion for working with their hands, utilizing various tools, materials, and specialized testing equipment to test and repair aircraft components in accordance with OEM and/or customer specifications.
The technician's responsibilities include testing, troubleshooting, disassembling, and assembling aircraft components. This position requires knowledge of our procedures as they pertain to processes and documentation. On-the-job training and oversight are provided by CIMA management.
Primary Responsibilities
- Test, troubleshoot, tear down, and repair aircraft components in accordance with company-provided data (manuals, drawings, procedures, etc.) and company-provided training.
- Maintain a clean, clutter-free work area.
- Correctly, concisely, and legibly complete all company forms and reports as required by management, both written and online.




- Work with co-workers to achieve goals and objectives set by management.
- Work with management to develop new processes and procedures as necessary.
- Assist with basic shop upkeep and maintenance, including routine cleaning of the work area and periodic shop maintenance assignments.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with internal and external representatives, including management, customer representatives, FAA inspectors, airline inspectors, and similar (training provided).
- Demonstrate commitment to company values and ethics.

Requirements
Experience and Skills
- Minimum 2 years of similar or related work experience; relevant experience in aviation, automotive, marine, electronics, or low-voltage electric repair will be considered.
- Must own a set of basic hand tools.
- Moderate level of experience and proficiency with general electrical and/or circuit board-level soldering.
- Ability to follow instructions and work to a writ
