The position supports pre-sales and post-sales activities by delivering expert application knowledge, demonstrations, trainings, and workflow optimization for electron microscopy sample preparation solutions. /h3 h3By acting as a technical and scientific bridge between customers, Sales, Business Development, Product Management, and RD, this role directly contributes to customer success, adoption of advanced workflows,



and Leica Microsystems’ growth across the EMEA region. /h3 pThe role is remote, with regular 40-50% travel across the EMEA region.br/We would like the successful candidate to be based in the Milan area due to the high concentration of our customers in the region and Milan's excellent international connectivity through its airports, enabling efficient travel across Europe. /p h3This position reports to the EMEA Business Development leadership and is part of the EMEA Business Development Team, Sample Preparation (SU). /h3 h3The role is remote, with regular travel across the EMEA region. /h3 h3In this role, you will have the opportunity to: /h3 ul liDeliver pre-sales and post-sales application support, including on-site and virtual demonstrations, customer trainings, and workflow optimization. /li liPlan, execute, and support customer workshops, seminars, and advanced application sessions focused on electron microscopy sample preparation workflows. /li liSupport marketing initiatives through scientific content contributions for webinars, conferences, workshops, and promotional materials. /li liDevelop and contribute to application data, success stories, and reference workflows that support the commercial organization. /li liEnsure accurate and timely documentation of customer activities, demos, and trainings in CRM systems (e.g., SFDC). /li /ul h3The essential requirements of the job include: /h3 ul liAdvanced degree (MSc or PhD) in Life Sciences, Materials Science, or a related scientific discipline.



/li liHands‑on experience with electron microscopy (EM) sample preparation techniques (e.g., cryo-EM workflows, Correlative Lights and Electron Microscopy (CLEM) workflows, ultramicrotomy, coating, freeze‑fracture). Experience with light microscopy workflows is advantageous. /li liAbility and willingness to travel frequently across the EMEA region. /li liProficiency in English (technical and conversational); additional European languages, particularly German, are an advantage. /li /ul h3Travel, Motor Vehicle Record Physical/Environment Requirements: /h3 ul liAbility to travel up to 40–50% within EMEA, including overnight stays. /li liValid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. /li liAbility to work in laboratory and customer environments and handle standard demonstration equipment. /li /ul h3It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: /h3 ul liCustomer‑facing roles supporting complex scientific instrumentation or workflows. /li liUse of CRM systems (e.g., SFDC) and virtual demonstration tools. /li liSupporting marketing or scientific communication activities such as webinars, conference presentations, or application notes. /li /ul pbBase salary and level of employment /b /p pThis role is classified under the applicable CCNL Commercio as second‑level employee, which defines minimum terms, job classification, and baseline progression frameworks. The expected gross annual salary range for this role is €49 000–€63 000, determined based on objective criteria such as experience, skills, and role‑related competencies. /p pbBonus / Incentive Pay /b /p pThis job is also eligible for premio / incentive pay. This is the target earnings as 20% of base annual salary, subject to objective eligibility criteria and performance conditions as set out in the applicable scheme terms and conditions. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
