The successful candidate will become part of the team specialized in Hitachi Rail's product certification activities, working within a laboratory qualified according to the EN 17025 standard and operating in compliance with the company's quality management system. /p pThe role involves laboratory activities, coordination of certification tests, and support for the maintenance and continuous improvement of the laboratory quality management system. /p h3Responsibilities /h3 ul liPerform Hitachi Rail laboratory activities, including both documentation-related tasks and hands-on testing activities. /li liPrepare Type Test documentation, including Test Plans, Test Procedures, and Test Reports, in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements. /li liSet up test configurations and conduct laboratory testing on products. /li liCoordinate and oversee testing activities carried out at external laboratories accredited by ACCREDIA. /li liVerify and monitor laboratory equipment calibration activities and the related documentation.



/li liSupport the maintenance and updating of the laboratory Quality Management System. /li liEnsure the correct application of technical standards and metrological methodologies related to the tests performed. /li liCollaborate with certification bodies, customers, and accreditation organizations. /li liTravel for short- and medium-term assignments, mainly within Italy. /li /ul h3Required Skills/Knowledge /h3 ul liAbility to use measurement instruments and laboratory equipment. /li liCapability to perform and supervise certification testing activities. /li liKnowledge of technical documentation related to testing and validation activities. /li liAbility to analyze test results and prepare technical reports. /li liRequired Skills and Knowledge /li liGood knowledge of metrology applied to electromagnetic, mechanical, climatic, and electrical quantities. /li liGood IT skills, particularly Microsoft Office and data management/calibration software. /li liStrong communication and interpersonal skills. /li liProblem-solving mindset and commitment to continuous improvement. /li liAccuracy, reliability, and quality orientation. /li liAbility to work effectively within a team. /li liOperational autonomy and sense of responsibility. /li liCommitment to continuous professional and technical development.



/li /ul h3Desidered Skills/Knowledge /h3 ul liExperience in managing testing or calibration laboratories. /li liFamiliarity with quality management systems based on EN 17025. /li liExperience coordinating activities with accredited laboratories. /li liInterest in innovation and continuous improvement. /li /ul h3Education and Qualifications /h3 ul liBachelor's or Master's Degree in Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline. /li li3-5 years of experience in testing or calibration laboratory activities, preferably within ACCREDIA-accredited laboratories. /li /ul h3Languages /h3 ul liGood Italian proficiency. /li liGood knowledge of technical English, both written and spoken. /li /ul pAlla posizione si applica il vigente CCNL per l’industria metalmeccanica privata e l’installazione di impianti, con inquadramento nel livello B2, ai sensi della relativa disciplina di classificazione del personale.
