Overview

In this role, you will provide enterprise-wide architecture leadership to align functional domains with the business strategy and prevent fragmentation in a decentralized organization. You will guide the evolution of core systems and establish guardrails to support sustainable, scalable transformation. You will work across domains such as Legal & Integrity, HR and Finance, shaping a coherent enterprise architecture at scale. This is an opportunity to influence major transformations by partnering with other Enterprise Architects and driving architecture-led decisions. You will operate in a hybrid model, contributing to a global function with impact across the organization.

Responsabilità

- Define and maintain the enterprise functional architecture vision and target state
- Translate business strategy into functional capabilities and ensure consistent interpretation of principles
- Guide evolution of core business systems in line with enterprise strategy
- Ensure architectural coherence across domains, platforms, and geographies
- Resolve conflicts between functional requirements and enterprise constraints
- Balance global versus local process ownership and standardization versus differentiation
- Act as final escalation point for cross-functional architectural decisions




- Define architecture principles and guardrails; establish reference architectures for core systems
- Define decision rights for functional architecture topics; contribute to Architecture Review Boards
- Approve or reject architectural exceptions impacting coherence; guide investments in platforms and transformations
- Support enterprise initiatives and align functional roadmaps to business capabilities in an architecture-led way

Requisiti fondamentali

- 12–15+ years in enterprise or domain architecture roles
- Deep experience across one or more major business functional domains in large, decentralized or federated enterprises
- Experience leading architecture in major enterprise transformations
- Strong SAP knowledge and ERP-/platform-centric architectures
- Expertise in functional capability modeling, business process harmonization, SaaS and packaged applications, cross-domain dependency management, and enterprise-scale governance
- Strong executive communication and storytelling skills
- Ability to arbitrate complex trade-offs pragmatically
