h3Job Description Summary /h3pAs Senior Commercial Operation Manager you will be responsible for managing the business with customers associated with OEM engines, both in Equipment and in Service segments. You will have some autonomy to drive internal approvals and enter into commercial arrangements among the variety and complexity of the contracts of the accounts. High levels of commercial judgement are needed to achieve the required outcomes. In this role you will report to a Senior Sales Manager. /ph3Essential responsibilities /h3ulliTake ownership of preparing customer proposals/bids and negotiating contracts in alignment with customer requirements and GE Avio’s value proposition. /liliYou will develop negotiation strategies and foster a positive team mindset to secure contracts successfully. /liliLead the offer and negotiation team, driving cross-functional collaboration to address customer needs and achieve GE Avio’s business objectives. /liliConduct commercial risk assessments, ensure compliance with GE Avio policies and procedures, and obtain necessary internal approvals for customer negotiations. /liliCustomer Relationship Management. Build strong and mutually beneficial relationships with customers by understanding their needs, capturing their voice, and effectively communicating insights to GE Avio stakeholders. Proactively identify solutions to customer challenges, provide actionable recommendations, and leverage internal and external resources to strengthen trust in Avio Aero. /liliDevelop the skills and capabilities of the team. Motivate and inspires them to drive daily activities and operating rhythm applying FLIGHT DECK® principles, identifying best practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. /liliContribute to the development of strategies for business growth with customers, identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. /liliLeverage strong relationships to create innovative business perspectives and compelling value propositions.
/liliConduct detailed analyses, prepare budgets, and provide forecasts to report on the health and performance of account business internally. /liliApply FLIGHT DECK® lean operating model principles in daily activities to identify best practices and drive continuous improvement. /li /ulh3Qualifications/Requirements /h3ulliBachelor’s degree in Engineering or in Business Administration /liliPrevious experience in sales, commercial, procurement, and/or program role(s) in an international environment is considered a plus /liliHigh commercial judgement, business acumen and knowledge of business best practices and differentiation factors versus competition /liliGood autonomy, ownership and decision making with the ability to adjust priorities in a moving environment /liliComprehensive knowledge of proposal development and management, financial business concepts, negotiation best practices, processes and procedures /liliFluent both English and Italian /liliWork Visa, in accordance with local regulations, is required /li /ulh3Desired characteristics /h3ulliProven experience in the aerospace industry /liliThrive in a fast-paced, challenging environment, with tight deadlines and high expectations /liliIndustry and product knowledge: understanding of the aerospace industry and dynamics and familiarity with turboprop engines /liliStrong oral and written communication skills with proven persuasion abilities /liliStrong interpersonal skills and ability to build consensus cross-functionally /liliDemonstrated ability to lead projects. /liliAbility to document, plan,
