ph3Your role /h3 /brpWe are looking for a Product Design Engineer Lead who will join our RD Department. /p /brh3Main responsibilities /h3 /brul /brliDevelop and act as reference for the development of complex mechanical solutions as a member of a multi-disciplinary team /li /brliIdeate, design, build, test, and refine prototypes and characterization test systems /li /brliPush state-of-the-art technologies and approaches to solve complex mechanical problems /li /brliWork across the full product development cycle, especially from idea, to concept definition and to product finalization /li /brliCollaborate closely with industrial designers, UX team and quality. /li /brliTravel to and support engineering builds and vendor visits /li /br /ul /brh3Main requirements /h3 /brul /brliEducational Background in Mechanical Engineering/Industrial Design /li /brliKnowledge and Experience of Parametric 3D Cad Software, better if Creo software /li /brliKnowledge and Experience on PDM, better if Windchill system /li /brliKnowledge on design and process of Injection molding /li /brli5+ years of industry experience in mechanical design or in mold Design in med-tech or electronic industry /li /brliExperience in Design for Manufacturing (DFM), Design for Assembly (DFA), statistical tolerance analysis techniques, functional dimensioning, geometric tolerancing, and 3D/2D CAD /li /brliKnowledge of design and simulation tools, prototyping tools, manufacturing technologies and materials. /li /brliWorking knowledge in material properties, such as plastics, metal, adhesive, glass, etc. /li /brliExperience building relationships and collaborating with cross-functional teams.
