pbTitle: /b Forward Deployed Engineer /p pbLocation: /b Turin, Italy (hybrid), with occasional travel to customer sites /p pbReporting to: /b CTO /p pbBefore you apply: /b Nebuly is where the bar is high and the vision is bold. We move fast, think deeply, and push each other to build the future of AI products. If you're ready to give your best, we'd love to hear from you. /p h3About Nebuly /h3 pNebuly is a fast-growing, VC-backed startup building the platform that proves the ROI of enterprise AI. /p pEvery enterprise function (sales, customer support, HR, finance) is deploying AI agents at scale, and budgets are following fast. But most companies can't answer a basic question: is this spend actually working? The signal that could answer it is already there, in the millions of conversations happening every day between employees, customers, and these agents. It's unstructured, high-volume, and invisible without the right infrastructure. /p pNebuly makes that signal visible. It sits on top of any enterprise AI deployment, turns those conversations into a clear answer on whether AI is working and where, and connects the dots back to ROI. Think of it as the accountability layer for enterprise AI: connect once, see the impact, prove the value, with no data ever leaving your environment. /p pOur customers include Oura, CNH Industrial, Vodafone, and Moncler. Demand is accelerating fast, and we're building the team to match. /p h3The role /h3 pMany of our enterprise customers run Nebuly inside their own cloud environment, so that no data ever leaves their perimeter. As a Forward Deployed Engineer, you are the person who makes that happen. You own the technical relationship with our customers' infrastructure teams: you get Nebuly deployed in their environment, you keep it healthy, and you make sure every customer stays on the latest version of the product. /p pYou sit at the boundary between our engineering team and our customers. You bring customer reality back into the product, and you bring the product into customer environments that are all a little different from one another.
/p h3Examples of your daily responsibilities /h3 ul liLead the deployment of Nebuly in customer environments on AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, from kickoff to production go-live. /li liWrite, adapt, and maintain the Terraform modules used to provision customer infrastructure, working within each customer's constraints on networking, identity, and security. /li liDeploy and operate Nebuly on Kubernetes clusters (AKS, EKS, GKE, and on-prem distributions), using Helm and our release tooling. /li liOwn the upgrade lifecycle for each customer: plan and run version upgrades, coordinate maintenance windows with customer teams, and follow up until every customer runs the latest release. /li liTroubleshoot issues in environments you don't fully control, together with customer DevOps, platform, and security teams. /li liSupport customers through security and architecture reviews by explaining how Nebuly is deployed and how data flows inside their perimeter. /li liTurn recurring problems into product improvements: feed back into our Terraform modules, Helm charts, docs, and runbooks so the next deployment is faster than the last. /li liWork closely with our engineering, product, and customer success teams to prioritise what customers need. /li /ul h3What we look for /h3 ul liMinimum of 3 years of professional experience in DevOps, platform, infrastructure, or cloud engineering roles. /li libStrong, hands-on Terraform experience. /b You write and structure modules, manage state across environments, and are comfortable reading and adapting someone else's code. /li libStrong, hands-on Kubernetes experience. /b You deploy and debug workloads in production, and you're fluent with Helm, networking, ingress, storage, RBAC, and upgrades.
/li liSolid experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP), and willingness to work across all three. /li liStrong understanding of networking concepts (VPCs/VNets, private endpoints, DNS, TLS) and security best practices in enterprise environments. /li liFamiliarity with logging and monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, or the ELK Stack. /li liScripting skills (Bash, Python) for automation and tooling. Professional experience in Python or Go is a plus. /li liExperience with CI/CD pipelines and release processes. /li liExcellent communication skills in English: you can explain a technical problem clearly to a customer's platform team, and run a call with them on your own. /li liA customer-facing mindset: you enjoy owning problems end to end, you follow up, and you don't consider a job done until the customer is live and up to date. /li /ul h3Nice to have /h3 ul liPrevious experience in a customer-facing technical role (Forward Deployed Engineer, Solutions Engineer, Technical Account Manager, or similar). /li liExperience deploying software in regulated or security-conscious enterprises (banking, telco, manufacturing). /li liKnowledge of ClickHouse or PostgreSQL operations. /li liItalian language skills. /li /ul h3What we offer /h3 pbHigh-impact work in small, fast-moving teams. /b At Nebuly, you'll work in small, entrepreneurial teams with a high degree of ownership and autonomy. Regardless of your seniority, your work has a direct impact: every deployment you lead is a customer going live on our platform. /p pbA platform for real growth. /b As more companies rely on our platform to understand and optimize their AI experiences, new challenges emerge constantly. You'll work with some of the largest enterprises in Europe and the US, and your role will grow with the product. /p pbCompetitive pay + equity. /b We offer a salary in the range of €50,000 to 72,000 gross per year, depending on the outcome of the technical interview, plus meaningful stock options in a fast-scaling company. /p #J-18808-Ljbffr
