This role is ideal for a technically strong and field-oriented engineer who enjoys managing complex industrial water treatment projects from concept through commissioning. This is a hybrid position in North Italy, with regular travel across the territory. /ph3Key Responsibilities /h3ulliSupporting the Engineering team from the early stages of project opportunities, clarifying scope, identifying technical risks, and defining optimal technical solutions to create competitive advantage. /liliConducting or supervising onsite surveys, basic design, and system conception, ensuring the best balance between CAPEX and OPEX. /liliEvaluating technical specifications and purchase order requirements, defining project schedules, execution timelines, and staffing needs. /liliPreparing technical specifications and procedures for project execution in collaboration with Engineering, supporting the Procurement team during supplier selection and PO issuance. /liliMonitoring work in progress, reviewing project specifications, and coordinating with internal and external Engineering/Service teams. /liliInspecting construction sites to verify compliance with design specifications and correct equipment installation. /liliLeading installation, start-up, commissioning activities, and final performance sign-off. /liliProviding technical assistance on existing OEM contracts, including troubleshooting and diagnostics, coordinating internal or external resources as needed. /liliManaging subcontractor relationships,



ensuring alignment with Solenis’ core values and project standards. /liliSupporting continuous improvement initiatives within Operation Maintenance contracts and strengthening the company’s Solutions Provider strategy. /li /ulh3The Ideal Candidate /h3ulliA degree in Technical Engineering, with proven experience in water process selection, design, and implementation of industrial water treatment systems (including FB applications) and chemical injection packages. /lili1–2 years of experience in Electrical and Automation systems is highly desirable. /liliAlternatively, Mechanical Engineers with 2–4 years of water treatment experience will also be considered. /liliStrong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, electrical components, material compatibility, and chemical applications. /liliFamiliarity with control and monitoring instrumentation, both local and remote modes. /liliDigital capabilities are essential for project implementation. /liliAwareness of relevant international standards and certifications for equipment construction. /liliFluency in Italian and English (mandatory). /liliWillingness to travel approximately 50% of the time, mainly within Italy. /liliValid driving license. /liliStrong verbal and written communication skills. /li /ulh3What We Offer /h3ulliCompetitive compensation package /liliComprehensive benefits /liliFlexible working approach /liliPension plan (based on seniority level)
